Summary:

The position will manage hardware, end user software, network, servers for the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage Windows installation, configuration, and updates – Specifically Imaging PCs with MDT/WDS and windows updates with WSUS
  • Develop and maintain local networks in ways that optimize performance
  • Workstation setup and moving
  • Install, configure, and maintain printers
  • VMWare maintenance & upkeep
  • Phone system maintenance and support
  • Security policy implementation (GPO)
  • Manage and support Office 365 – Must have
  • General software/hardware troubleshooting
  • Maintain documentation surrounding infrastructure
  • Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment
  • Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging etc.)

  • Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
  • Experience with Windows Desktop/Server OS (Server 2019)
  • Experience with hardware troubleshooting
  • Experience with networking – Switches, Access Points, WAN & LAN Understanding
  • Experience with network-based Windows management – DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP
  • Experience with Microsoft Exchange – Hybrid AD a plus
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Experience with network security
  • Certification as IT Technician will be an advantage (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional)
  • 0 – 3 Years’ Experience in working in IT related field or IT related college education.  Will also take Certifications in lieu of experience.
